About Z’Abbracci
The Name, well, ‘ZA’ is short for pizza & ‘Abbracci’, that is Italian for ‘hugs’… because that’s what Italian family’s do – we hug and we eat good food.
Z’Abbracci is an independent and locally owned and operated full service casual restaurant and full-service bar. We serve 20 of Colorado’s best local beers on tap from breweries across the state. We prepare our menu items with locally sourced ingredients of the freshest quality, focusing on pizza and Italian classics along with a few twists on classic pub fare in a comfortable setting. Our guests are like family and it’s because of them that we’re always striving to ensure every moment they spend at our family table counts.
Our scratch kitchen enables us to provide a wide variety of creative and innovative items, from our signature blackened shrimp campanelle to our relentless focus on our house made pizza dough and sauce, artisanal sausage, hoagies, appetizers and desserts.
HISTORY & ATMOSPHERE
We started as a small pizza shop in Sedalia Colorado with our sister store PieZanos. PieZanos is where we received recognition for our hand stretched pizza dough, homemade sauce and award winning meatballs. We took a year and a half to perfect our dough recipe, yep, a year and a half! Our dough takes 24 hours to prepare and we’re proud of it.
Z’Abbracci’s warm tones, use of reclaimed Colorado wood, 100 year old brick walls and subtle ambiance provides a comfortable setting, in a historic downtown Castle Rock building, with an outside patio under the lights spanning main street. For any dining experience whether for the individual or group of friends dining in the bar area or the family expecting the utmost in attentive service, we’re here to welcome you to our family and make you feel at home. We also have meeting space for business luncheons and local sports league celebration meals.
